Buhle’s Sudden Death Leaves Viewers In Tears

After Buhle’s untimely passing, Gomora viewers yesterday night found it difficult to hold back their tears.

Ama Qamata, who portrayed the part of Buhle, had been missing in action before making a devastating comeback on Gomora screens.

After being shot and slain in front of her family and friends by Qhoqhoqho, Buhle left Gomora.

Ama Qamata apparently wanted to resume filming for the Netflix series Blood and Water, so her character was reportedly killed off.

Viewers of Gomora sympathized with Buhle’s friends and family, especially with her mother Thati who had to witness her daughter being shot and dying in front of her.

When her daughter Buhle was shot, Gomora’s Thati screamed (Screengrab). I just started crying at this scene. My heart broke for Onthathile.

Even though the sequence was quite emotional, some viewers weren’t impressed with how it was done. They believe her last scene contained numerous discrepancies and lacked the necessary realism.

Slindile Gumede: After exerting so much effort to return home, Ai suka… She remained standing there like a zombie rather than rushing to individuals she knew. Consequently, they brought a character back to die.

@LisaMissMo; No, they let us down, man. How can you exit a car after being kidnapped and simply walk instead of running? She was meant to sprint in their direction while shouting Ntokozo’s name.

@Gontse Irene Selebano. No one witnessed a police officer dragging Buhle in a public area.
