Senzo Meyiwa trial: Kelly Khumalo received calls from hitman
SAPS National Cold Case Unit Colonel Lambertus Steyn revealed in the Pretoria high court that singer Kelly Khumalo had received phone calls from a number associated with one of the men accused of murdering former Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa.
According to Steyn’s testimony, accused number five, Fisokuhle Ntuli, made two calls to Khumalo on 2 August 2014 and 15 October 2014. The tragic incident occurred in October 2014 at the Vosloorus residence of his then-girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo. Currently, five men are facing trial for their alleged involvement in the killing.
