Qwabe Twins

The Qwabe Twins, known for their Afro-pop music, made headlines and faced backlash after a video of them kissing went viral. Viggy and Virginia, the sisters comprising the duo, have garnered attention for their music since participating in Season 15 of Idols South Africa, although they did not make it to the top.

While the Qwabe Twins did not win Idols South Africa, they have continued to release songs and win the hearts of their fans. A viral kissing video sparked questions and harsh comments about their relationship, but the sisters emphasized their single status and their respect for each other. Fans eagerly await the release of their new songs and can follow the Qwabe Twins on Instagram for updates.

The Qwabe Twins have released popular songs such as “Humba,” “Shona Langa,” “Sobonana,” “Impilo,” and “Show Me,” among others. In 2020, they won the South African Traditional Music Awards for their debut album, “The Gift of Love.” This year, they released their second studio album titled “Words of Hope.” The duo’s talent has been recognized, with a nomination for the 2020 KZN Entertainment Awards.
