Zahara back at it again

There have been new allegations made against Zahara, this time claiming that she has a drinking problem. allegations, which have been a problem for the musicians ever since she first started her career.

It would appear that when she is not fighting DJ Sbu and the persistent rumors that he stole her royalties, she is engaged in a war against both of them. It does not take long for the issue of her allegedly having a drinking problem to rear its ugly head and put an end to any progress she has made in a positive direction.

The drinking issue that Zahara had before reappears.

Zahara has spent the last few months traversing the entirety of Africa in order to meet with her growing number of fans across the continent. Her most recent trip took her to Accra, Ghana, where she gave a performance while she was there. It appeared that she was making progress in putting the pieces of her life back together.

Zahara back at it again

But everything went downhill from there when people attending the Macufe Festival shared videos they had taken during her performance the night before on Twitter. In the videos, Zahara can be heard singing off key while she is attempting to perform her moving and emotionally charged song, Ndiza. The song is also spiritually charged. The initial post did not imply that she was drunk; rather, it left it up to the public to draw their own conclusions based on the information provided.

People on social media were generally of the opinion that the singer was once again under the influence of alcohol while performing, and this was the opinion that predominated the majority of the time.

Even Nota took to social media to suggest that Zahara’s constant allegations that she was short changed by her previous record label, TS Records, are an attempt to smear DJ Sbu and TK Nciza. These allegations center on Zahara’s claim that her recent viral performance is more evidence that she has been slandering DJ Sbu and TK Nciza.

However, there were still some people on Twitter who were under the impression that this did not imply that Zahara was intoxicated. On the other hand, there were those who hypothesized that she simply had a “bad day at the office.” Despite the fact that there were other festivalgoers present who claimed that they had a positive experience watching her perform, the shared video was created with the intention of making her appear unfavorable.

At the time that this article was being written, Zahara had not provided a response to the issue. However, it is only a question of time before she does so because her silence may only serve to inflame the situation further.

In addition, if you were curious about the same thing as the rest of us, who exactly is Zahara’s manager?

It would appear that she has expanded her business activities within the family, as her brother now serves as her manager. It is not clear whether the same brother is the one that used to manage her when Zahara was last embarrassed on social media. This happened when the acapella group that she was singing with posted a video with her performing again in what appeared to be a drunken state. Zahara appeared to be singing incoherently in the video.

No matter what the circumstances are, we sincerely hope that Zahara will be able to obtain the assistance that she requires. However, if it is not help with her drinking problem, we do hope that she does get help with her public relations as it seems that she cannot have any victories without there being a moment which embarrasses her publicly to take away from all of the little victories she has before having to deal with another public scandal.

Zahara refutes the allegations

Zahara has stated that she was not ‘drunk’ on stage and has accused her detractors of ‘editing’ videos of the performance; however, fans have brought more receipts from the show.

Zahara has responded to allegations that she was intoxicated during her performance at the Macufe Lifestyle Divas Show on Friday night. She accused her detractors of “editing” footage of her and called them out on their hypocrisy.

Many people believed that the singer had taken the stage while under the influence of alcohol because of viral videos that circulated on social media showing her slurring her words and singing out of tune.

At the concert in Bloemfontein, Zahara gave a performance alongside other well-known female artists, such as Makhadzi, Zonke, Lamiez Holworthy, and many others.

As a direct result of her performance, Zahara was quickly elevated to the status of a trending topic on Twitter, where clips of her act were shared for all the wrong reasons.

And a number of people on Twitter brought up the singer’s alleged history of abusing alcohol.

But Zahara moved quickly to deny the rumors that she was intoxicated while performing on stage.

Along with a clip of her singing, she posted it on Twitter with the following message: “Don’t edit things to put me down, God is good all the time.” Put an end to this nonsense.

Unfortunately for Zahara, a significant number of Twitter users found her footage to be “proof” that her performance was below par.

This is what they had to say in response:

“You just gave us another poor clip,” replied MbeleLetso on Twitter. We want you to know that we love you, Zahara, so please take this feedback to heart and work on improving your craft. Believe me, I’ve seen you perform live, and this is in no way representative of you at all. You used to come and put on a one-woman show for us, and every time, you absolutely blew us away.

@maliyekutsenga: “No, no, no Zahara! Could you please take this seriously for once? Do not take advantage of the fact that we love and will continue to support you. My friend was there in real time, and she recorded it and sent it to me. You were drunk, very drunk. Apologise and get help”

“Someone is busy with you and your career,” said LimthandeG on Twitter. If you don’t put an end to your drinking right away, you might find yourself working at Shoprite. You need to get your act together.

And the user on Twitter who initially shared the clip of Zahara stated unequivocally that they had not made any changes to the video in any way.

“Why on earth would I go to the trouble of deceiving others about you? Because the video I shared was captured during a Facebook Live broadcast, there is no way that it could have been edited in any way. This brief video demonstrates that I was correct all along. The user posted on their Twitter account, “I dare you now to tweet your entire performance!”
