DJ Tira warns Maphorisa about working with Emtee. South African musician DJ Tira, also known as Mthokozi Khathi, has cautioned DJ Maphorisa against collaborating with Emtee, the artist behind the hit song “Roll-Up.” DJ Tira expressed his dissatisfaction with Emtee’s behavior and advised him to get his life together. He shared his own experience of working with Emtee and revealed that the rapper failed to follow through on a music video collaboration. Despite the criticism, DJ Tira clarified that he wishes Emtee well and hopes he takes responsibility for his actions.
Emtee, whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu, has faced numerous challenges in his career. He gained rapid fame but became known for incidents involving domestic violence, drug abuse, and inappropriate behavior on a live stream. Currently, he is going through a separation from his pregnant wife, who accused him of assaulting her and had him arrested.
