Mzansi appears to have discovered the young actress who portrayed Christina, the daughter of Menzi Ngubane’s character Sibusiso Dhlomo and Sonia Mbele’s character Ntombi. Insidegist shared a social media post revealing the young actress to be Siyamthando Moyo, who is now in her teenage years.
Menzi Ngubane tragically passed away few years ago after suffering a stroke. He was laid to rest in Durban, next to his father who passed away shortly after his own passing.
At one point, Sonia Mbele and Menzi Ngubane were considered South Africa’s “it” couple on television. Sonia recently spoke about their relationship on the Podcast And Chill with Mac G, stating that it was strictly professional. She emphasized the importance of maintaining boundaries and respect, even going so far as to avoid calling Menzi at home.
Sonia further revealed that her ex-partner’s discomfort with seeing her engage in intimate scenes with Menzi onscreen led to her departure from Generations, a popular South African soap opera.

Job Summary:
As an Enrolled Nurse in the Theatre, your primary responsibility will be to provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients or a group of patients. You will work under the direct and/or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to the scope of practice for Enrolled Nurses.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12.
- Enrolled Nursing qualification.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council.
- BLS qualification.
- 3+ years of relevant nursing experience in Theatre.
- Experience within a private hospital environment is advantageous.
- Computer proficiency is advantageous.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Perform all duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH), and National Core Standards.
- Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC acts and omissions, Company Code of Conduct, patient rights and Responsibility charter, National Millennium Development goals, and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD).
- Plan, organize, assess, and prioritize work to efficiently complete tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Ensure quality of care by adhering to work standards and establishing a safe, therapeutic, and clean environment for all stakeholders (patients, families, doctors, and staff) that is free from medico-legal hazards.
- Document patient care services accurately by charting in patient and department records, including progress on patients’ condition.
- Prioritize a positive patient (customer) experience by prioritizing patients’ needs and delivering holistic customer-oriented service.
- Apply Lean management principles to minimize wastage and unnecessary expenditure without compromising patient care.
- Actively participate as a team member and contribute effectively to achieve unit goals.
