South Africa, Durban musician Mfana Kah Gogo is in need of the public’s support and prayers following a car accident involving his team members.

The incident occurred while they were en route to the launch of his album, Inzalo Ka Sikabopha, at Artizen Lounger in KwaMashu. While Mfana Kah Gogo escaped unharmed, two of his team members were hospitalized as a result of the accident.

In response to the incident, the Amapiano vocalist took to social media to ask for love and support from his fans and followers. Mfana Kah Gogo shared that the car they were travelling in had been written off and that his team members were in critical condition.

“ALBUM LAUNCH Artizen, Last nite me and my team were in a car accident. Im OK but my driver and dj are in a critical state in hospital, car is beyond repairs. Please pray for my TEAM -Mavuso,” he wrote.

Since the incident, Mfana Kah Gogo’s fans and followers have shown an outpouring of support and love. Many have taken to social media to offer their prayers and well wishes to the musician and his team.

Some fans have even suggested that Mfana Kah Gogo seek traditional consultation to determine the meaning behind the accident, as they find it suspicious that it occurred on the day of his album launch.

Despite the setbacks caused by the accident, Mfana Kah Gogo has remained positive and grateful for the support he has received. Speaking to Zimoja Lezinto, he revealed that although he had only sustained minor injuries, his team members were still recovering in hospital.

“We were on the way to the gig when the accident happened. My DJ was hurt, but he got discharged today. My producers are also okay but the driver needs our prayers. I got a few scratches, nothing major. The driver dislocated his shoulder and hurt his foot,” he said.

According to reports, the accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting to avoid another vehicle that had failed to yield at a circle. The car subsequently overturned, resulting in the injuries sustained by Mfana Kah Gogo’s team members.

Despite the setback, Mfana Kah Gogo remains committed to his music and his fans. While he has not yet announced whether the album launch will be postponed or cancelled, he is hopeful that his team will make a full recovery. “We don’t know as yet whether we are postponing or cancelling but we will know once everyone has fully recovered. We are glad that everyone is okay, we just pray that all goes well with the driver,” he said.

In the meantime, Mfana Kah Gogo’s fans and followers continue to offer their love and support.
