After the before and after pictures of popular Kenyan slayqueen Vera Sadiki went viral, she has become a topic of conversation on various social media platforms.
Vera Sadiki, who was particularly well-known for her voluptuous and curvy figure, shocked her followers when she uploaded a picture of her new transformed body.
After having butt surgery to remove implants due to concerns about her health, Vera Sadiki disclosed her feelings on Instagram, stating that she considers herself fortunate to be alive. She referred to the newly transformed appearance of her body as “the rebirth” after undergoing surgery.
THE REBIRTH …
I had to get surgery because my health was in jeopardy and there were complications, and this has been the most difficult time in my life. Despite the fact that it is still very unbelievable to me, I have accepted it and learned to love myself regardless of the situation.
Vera Sadiki admonished the people who followed her to cultivate self-love and resist the temptation to give in to the influence of their peers. She went on to reveal that she had not even been able to celebrate her birthday this year, but she thanked God for sparing her life before doing so.
The socialite claimed that the experience taught her to appreciate life more and to not take anything for granted after she had a brush with death.
Please, ladies, make it a priority to learn to love who you are, and under no circumstances should you give in to the kind of peer pressure that could lead to your demise in the future. I am so blessed by God’s love that he has allowed me to see another day. Honestly It hasn’t been easy at all; in fact, I didn’t even bother to celebrate my birthday this year. Nevertheless, here we are. I hope you have a wonderful birthday. New me. I’ve learned to appreciate life and to never take anything for granted, especially the little things.
The “beautypreneur” continued by expressing gratitude to her husband and family for their support throughout this challenging time in her life. Vera has given her supporters the assurance that despite having surgery, she is still the same kind of person she was before the procedure.
I’d like to express my gratitude to my husband and the rest of my family for always being there for me.
To all of my devoted followers, I assure you that the sweetest Vera Sidika that you know and love has not evolved. I am grateful for the love and support you all have shown me, and I pray that you will accompany me on this journey.
Vera Sadiki expressed the hope that her story will persuade individuals who are considering undergoing cosmetic surgery of any kind, including but not limited to surgery on the buttocks, to reconsider their decision so that they do not put themselves in danger of experiencing death or the level of agony that she did.
Here is where I will be posting videos documenting my journey through surgery; those of you who have been debating whether or not to change anything about your body may find that watching these videos influences your decision.
Love and Peace to All
Here are ten of the most common complications that can arise from plastic surgery.
The cost of cosmetic surgery in the United States in 2017 was greater than $6.5 billion. Procedures that alter our appearance are becoming increasingly common, and this includes everything from breast augmentation to eyelid surgery. However, these surgical procedures are not without their inherent dangers.
A hematoma is a collection of blood that takes the form of a large and excruciating bruise. It takes place once in every one hundred breast augmentation procedures. It is also the complication that occurs in the majority of patients following a facelift and occurs in an average of 1 percent of patients. Males are more likely to be affected by this condition than females.
A hematoma is a potential complication in almost every surgical procedure. If the collection of blood is large or expanding quickly, the treatment may at times include additional operations to drain the blood. This might call for a second procedure to be carried out in the operating room, as well as additional anesthesia in some cases.
- The seroma
Seroma is a condition that manifests itself when serum, also known as sterile body fluid, collects beneath the surface of the skin. This can cause the affected area to swell and in some cases cause discomfort. It is possible for this to happen after any type of surgery, but it is the most common complication that follows a tummy tuck, occurring in 15–30% of patients who undergo the procedure.
Because seromas are prone to infection, a needle is typically used to drain the fluid from them. Even though there is still a possibility of them returning, this effectively gets rid of them.
- Blood loss
Blood loss is to be expected during any type of surgical procedure. On the other hand, blood loss that is not under control can result in a drop in blood pressure, which can have fatal consequences.
Loss of blood can occur not only during and after surgery, but also while the patient is still on the operating table.
Even though postoperative care involves taking measures to lower the likelihood of infection, this continues to be one of the most common complications that can arise from plastic surgery.
For instance, between 1.1 and 2.5 percent of people who have breast augmentation end up contracting an infection during the procedure.
Following surgical procedures, a patient may develop the skin infection known as cellulitis. In some instances, infections can be internal and severe, calling for antibiotics to be administered intravenously (IV).
- Nerve damage
There are a wide variety of surgical procedures, each of which carries with it the possibility of causing nerve damage. After plastic surgery, patients frequently experience numbness and tingling, which can be indicators of nerve damage. The nerve damage is usually only temporary, but there are some instances in which it can be permanent.
After breast augmentation surgery, the majority of women report a shift in their levels of sensitivity, and approximately 15% report experiencing permanent changes in nipple sensation.
- Conditions such as pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis
A condition known as deep vein thrombosis, or DVT, is characterized by the formation of blood clots in deep veins, most frequently in the legs. A pulmonary embolism is the medical term for what happens when one of these clots breaks off and travels to the lungs (PE).
Only 0.09 percent of all patients undergoing plastic surgery will experience these complications, making them an extremely rare occurrence overall. On the other hand, blood clots can be fatal.
Abdominoplasty procedures are associated with a marginally increased risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), which affects just under one percent of patients. When compared to people who only undergo one procedure, those who undergo multiple procedures are at a significantly higher risk of developing blood clots.

- Organ damage
The internal organs are subjected to potential trauma during liposuction.
When the surgical probe makes contact with internal organs, the patient runs the risk of experiencing visceral perforations or punctures. It may be necessary to perform additional surgery in order to repair these injuries.
The perforations carry the risk of death as well.
- Leaving a Scar
Scarring is a side effect that almost always follows surgery. Scars can be especially upsetting after cosmetic surgery, which is done with the intention of improving how a person looks.
For example, hypertrophic scarring is characterized by an abnormally raised scar that is thick and red. It occurs in 1.0 to 3.7 percent of tummy tucks, and it is associated with the formation of smooth, hard keloid scars.
- Unhappiness with one’s overall physical presentation
The majority of patients report being content with their postoperative outcomes, and research suggests that the vast majority of breast augmentation patients are also happy with their results. However, there is a possibility that one will be dissatisfied with the results. People who have breast surgery may have issues with contouring or asymmetry, while people who have facial surgeries may simply not like the results of their procedures.
- Obstacles brought on by the anesthesia
The induction of unconsciousness through the administration of medication is known as anesthesia. Patients can undergo surgical procedures without being aware of what is happening to them.
The use of general anesthesia may occasionally result in complications. These symptoms include pneumonia, a stroke, a heart attack, and ultimately death. Anesthesia awareness, also known as waking up in the middle of surgery, is something that occurs very infrequently but is still a possibility.
Complications following plastic surgery are uncommon, on the whole. Fewer than one percent of outpatient surgeries experience some kind of complication, according to a study that looked at more than 25,000 previous cases in 2018.
As is the case with the majority of surgical procedures, certain individuals are more likely to experience complications following plastic surgery. For instance, people who smoke cigarettes, people who are older than adults, and people who are obese are more likely to experience complications.
By conducting a thorough investigation into your doctor and the credentials they hold, you can lower the likelihood that you will experience unwanted side effects. You need to find out as much as you can about the hospital where your operation will take place.
You will be able to better manage your expectations and reduce the likelihood of experiencing complications if you educate yourself about the procedure and the possible risks involved, as well as discuss your worries with your attending physician.
