Letoya ‘beaten to a pulp’ by Lebogang

Former Generations: The Legacy actress Letoya Makhene-Pulumo found herself in a distressing situation when she allegedly endured a brutal assault at the hands of her partner, Lebogang Pulumo-Makhene, prompting her to cut off her signature dreadlocks.

The altercation was said to have left Letoya with two black eyes and a punctured lung. After the incident, Letoya was reportedly on the verge of filing for divorce with the support of her family, who also assisted her in opening a criminal case against Lebogang.

Following the alleged violent incident, Letoya sought refuge at the home of an associate in Springs, on the East Rand, due to the severity of her injuries. Despite her initial intentions of pressing charges and seeking divorce, she eventually reconciled with Lebogang, causing upset among her family. Letoya’s relatives had even arranged and paid for a lawyer to help her with the legal process, but she changed her mind and returned to her partner’s arms.
