Former Generation star Kagiso Rakosa has made a triumphant return to acting with an exciting new role. Fans of the talented actress have been eagerly awaiting her comeback since her departure from Generations years ago, and their prayers have finally been answered.

Unconfirmed reports have it that she was forced out from Generations after her alleged affair with the late Shona Ferguson in 2010.

However word of the street has it that Sharon was shown the exit door from the Generations cast after she was drawn into a nasty affair with Shona Ferguson.

It is said the two even have a baby together.

This is not the first time Shona and Kagiso affair sparked uproar on social media. Back then in 2010, the two made all sorts of headlines when their alleged affair went viral.

Kagiso Rakosa captured the hearts of South Africans with her exceptional acting skills, particularly in her role as Sharon on Generations. Starting as an extra on the popular soapie, she quickly rose to prominence and was eventually given a major role. Her character underwent significant development and even found love with Samuel Khumalo, portrayed by Thabiso Mokgethi.

Unfortunately, after almost six years on the SABC1 soapie, Kagiso had to bid farewell to her beloved roles. Her contract was not renewed, leaving both fans and viewers shocked.

However, the wait is over as the beloved actress has made a grand comeback. She has recently been cast in the upcoming drama series Magaeng, alongside other talented actors. While details about her specific role remain scarce, it is evident that Kagiso will be portraying a police officer in the drama.

The highly anticipated series Magaeng features the legendary Khabonina Qubeka in the lead role, playing a woman in witness protection who aspires to be part of the Real Gold Diggers reality show. The cast also includes Themba Ndaba as her greedy husband, Thato Molamu as the police officer assigned to protect her, and other notable actors such as Tina Mnumzane, Keke Mphuthi, and Sdumo Mtshali.

Magaeng is set to premiere on Saturday, July 8 at 20:30 on 1Magic, with a subsequent airing on Monday, July 10 at 20:00.

About the Learnership

The learnership programme aims to qualify students as a Pharmacist Assistant and provide them with a National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme (Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant) and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant) through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy.

The position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and includes both theoretical and practical components leading to a National Qualification Framework (NQF) qualification.

Available Positions and Locations

There are learnership positions available at the following locations:

  1. Meyersdale (Alberton)
  2. Bayswater (Bloemfontein)
  3. Vryburg (North West)
  4. Germiston
  5. Brightwater (Randburg)

These positions are offered on a Fixed-Term Contract basis, and students will receive Market Related pay.

Programme Objectives

The learnership programme aims to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Complete the Learnership Training Contract at a registered Clicks Pharmacy under the supervision of an approved tutor.
  2. Attend necessary training interventions and complete competency assessments.
  3. Submit a Portfolio of Evidence.
  4. Provide support to the healthcare team at Click’s Pharmacy under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist, within the legal scope of practice outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
  5. Successful candidates will be required to enter into a contractual work back agreement and work for Clicks as a qualified Pharmacist Assistant for an equal or longer period than the learnership period.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Completed Matric.
  2. Obtained a minimum pass mark of 50% for Mathematics or 60% for Mathematical Literacy in Matric.
  3. Obtained a minimum pass mark of 50% for English in Matric.
  4. Preference will be given to EE applicants.
  5. Passionate about healthcare and delivering superior patient care.
