Here Is Why Generations: The Legacy’s Pamela Khoza Actress Zola Nombona Is Dumping The Show
ACTRESS Zola Nombona who has been playing the role of Pamela Khoza, Siyanda Khoza’s estranged wife in the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy is set to leave the show.
Zola has been playing Pamela Khoza since last May.
Her manager Ntando Zikalala has confirmed the news of her departure to the Daily Sun saying:
“Yes, she’s definitely leaving the soapie. The reason for her departure is she got new offers she wants to try out.”
According to Ntando, Zola has been serving her notice.
In October last year, Zola took to her social media page and wrote about her journey with the soapie. She said:
“What a journey. I’ve been with the Generations family for more than six months now and what a lovely journey it has been.
I thought I was not a long-form actor because I get bored easily, but I quickly realised I actually didn’t have the stamina for it (yep, acting stamina is a real thing).
I got the opportunity to test my acting stamina in theatre productions, but that hasn’t happened in a while so beku rough.”
Also on iHarare, media personality Khanyi Mbauis set to make history as the first black female to be roasted on Comedy Central, and she has made it clear that she does not want to see Somizi and Pearl Thusi anywhere close to her roast.
Mbau was a panelist on the 2014 roast with ex-husband Kenny Kunene and she is making a comeback, this time on the other side of the firing line.
She spoke to TimesLIVE in a video and singled out fellow reality TV star Somizi and actress Pearl Thusi, saying she does not want them on her roast.
Earlier this month, The Citizen reported that Somizi said he is mad at Khanyi Mbau because his group of friends organised New Year’s celebrations in Cape Town, and everyone contributed money towards the cost except her.
Somizi added that on the day, Mbau ghosted them even after the group made flight and hotel reservations for her.
