Nadia Speaks On What It Was Like Dating AKA

Nadia Nakai, a South African rapper, recently revealed that both she and AKA (Kiernan Forbes), also a rapper, were surprised by their romantic relationship. Several years ago, when news about their relationship first emerged, many people dismissed it as false due to Nakai’s association with Cassper Nyovest’s record label. However, the news turned out to be true, and the two musicians dated until AKA’s untimely death on February 10th.

Nakai took to Twitter to express her astonishment at their relationship, stating, “Who knew Bragga and Mega, wow! Hectic!” She further disclosed that both she and AKA were in awe of their connection. She recounted how AKA would often express his disbelief at the fact that he was kissing her, while Nakai herself had moments of surprise when AKA rested his head on her chest. Reflecting on their relationship, Nakai emphasized how unexpected life can be and how it can surprise you.

The revelation sheds light on the unexpected nature of Nakai and AKA’s romantic involvement, defying initial skepticism. Their relationship remained a topic of interest among fans and the media, particularly given AKA’s longstanding feud with Cassper Nyovest. Although AKA’s tragic death marked the end of their time together, Nakai’s candid remarks highlight the genuine surprise and happiness they both experienced during their romantic journey.
